Every third Saturday, British (and Brit-ish) music is taking over Älghjärtat.
The music will be from all sorts of genres and decades:
We’ll start in the punk- & new wave era in the 70’s and 80’s, via Clash, Jam, Specials, Joy Division and lots more. Then, over to The The, Aztec Camera, Smiths and some synth hits from the first half of the 80’s before we move over to the Manchester-era with bands like Happy Mondays, Stone Roses and Charlatans, to finish with the biggest of British pop: Oasis and Blur. Trip hop and big beat, also from the 90’s… and of course some favourites from the 00’s as well, but what that will be you’ll see when you get here.
All of this will be brought to you on vinyl by our very own favourite DJ: Gördis.
As always, the bar is full of Gin & Tonics and beers.
